Nelson Bay RSL hosted the ‘Little Black Dress’ Cocktail Party last
Friday 19th October, with over 100 local ladies dressing up for a
girls night out in order to raise funds for the Tomaree Breast Cancer
Support Group. The function proved to be a great success raising over
$1000 for the local organisation. The night included a Fashion Parade,
Display stalls, Raffle and some inspiring and informative speeches.
The event was a template for next year with the aim to triple funds raised
and move the function into the new Auditorium.
