Nelson Bay RSL is preparing the club for imminent legislative changes relating to the Smoking Ban. In conjunction with this Nelson Bay RSL is taking this opportunity to provide increased service to our members and guests inclusive of:

• Fitting our existing Main Lounge Balcony with cover and 2 outdoor heaters for our members and guests (smoking will be permitted)
• Fitting our existing Bistro Balcony with cover and 1 outdoor heater for our members and guests (smoking will be permitted)
• Introducing drink service to our gaming room on specific days at designated times
• Introducing late night coffee and light refreshment service to our gaming room on specific days at designated times

Update - 14th September 2007

The construction is well under way with the toilets and bar set out and ready for construction . The back dock is well on the way to completion and should be ready for use by early next month. The construction plan and interior samples are on display in the entrance to the Main Bar, and I encourage you all to view these.
