NELSON BAY RSL BAY BOOT SCOOTERS

 The newly branded Bay Bootscooters was formed in 2000 when several line dance classes in the Nelson Bay area united to become an intra club with the Nelson Bay RSL. The Bay Boot Scooters Club is unique that it has been formed independently of a teacher and without input from other line dance clubs..  We now have 90 members and new members are always welcome.  

Classes are held at the Nelson Bay RSL Memorial Club:

•  Mondays 1.30pm to 4.30 pm

Every second, fourth & fifth Thursdays 7.00pm to 9.00pm

•  Practice class is held every Tuesday 7.00pm to 9.00 pm

 Line Dancing is an excellent form of exercise, not only an enjoyable physical activity but also an excellent mental activity as one strives to remember the dance steps. Line Dancing is a great way to meet new friends. We hold many social events throughout the year and these include stage shows, trips to the wineries and visits to other line dance clubs to join in with dance socials.  The group has a colorful and entertaining show group. Dressed in Country and Western outfits the group performs choreographed western routines which regularly entertain the community at various locations in the region. The Bay Boot Scooters from the Nelson Bay RSL are currently practicing for the Port Stephens Blue Water Country Music Festival in June 2007.
